Is this really a one-time payment?
Yes. You pay $149 once and own EPIC forever. There are no monthly fees, no annual renewals, and no feature gates. Every module is included.
What about future updates?
All updates within your major version (e.g., v1.x) are free. When a new major version launches (e.g., v2), existing license holders get a discounted upgrade price. You're never forced to upgrade — your current version works indefinitely.
Do I need to pay for the AI features?
EPIC itself includes all AI modules at no extra cost. However, cloud AI features (The Oracle, The Illustrator) use your own API keys from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Replicate. You pay those providers directly based on your usage. EPIC also supports local AI models that run entirely on your machine at no cost.
Can I use it on multiple computers?
Yes. Your license allows activation on up to 3 devices you own or control — for example, a desktop, a laptop, and a secondary workstation.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges after purchase.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. EPIC is a desktop application that stores all data locally on your device. Your stories, world-building data, maps, and everything else never leave your machine. You own your data completely.
